During the month of August, The Kinship Advisors, Fund Black Founders, and Lauren Holiday had the opportunity to connect with some of our grantee recipients from Indianapolis. While there, the team met at Growing Places Indy, a local urban agriculture farm, and later enjoyed a gallery by local artist, Ashley Nora, both recipients of the JLH Fund Round Two award. Then in Los Angeles, the team met at Pucker Up Lemonade in Compton, where the recipients enjoyed thirst-quenching drinks and shared how the JLH Fund has positively impacted their work on the ground in L.A. In the coming months, Lauren will be visiting grantee award winners from the city of New Orleans.
