WHY IS A LIFE COACH IMPORTANT?

Throughout our lives, we’ve all experienced a coach who developed our athletic skills, a teacher who helped us be better in our artistic crafts or a mentor who helped guide us with career advice.

But, when it comes to our day to day lives – how we are showing up in relationships, fear of failure, being a better communicator or having more confidence – we often forget that evolving as a person requires guidance as well!

A life coach is an unbiased thought partner, who helps you reflect on your life now and empowers you to create the future you desire. The journey to being your best self requires identifying strengths and weakness to overcome obstacles. A life coach takes you through a process where you see your options differently, expand on ideas and collaborate on realistic action steps that are authentic to you.

Alexys Feaster is a certified life coach by the American School of Professional Life Coaching, an ICF approved school. Her passion as an evolutionary mindset coach, is matched only by her unique background in the sports and entertainment industries. Working with artists, athletes and influencers for the past 15 years, Alexys saw a clear void; the lack of culturally relevant support to empower them to be as influential to themselves as they are to the world.

During her time in A&R at Interscope Records and while running a recording studio, she realized there were limited resources to help artists as they navigate the limelight. Most recently, Alexys spent 6 years as the Senior Director of Player Development at the NBA, guiding the personal development of players off the court. While in that role, she discovered there was a need for a more individualized resource, where athletes can benefit from a space to process the pressures of being in the public eye; and lean into all the ways they are more than their sport.

As a life coach who understands the nuances of unique cultures, Alexys collaborates with all clients to help connect to your inner wisdom and make choices and decisions, that are aligned with your goals and dreams.
