TKA and Jaylen Brown’s 7uice Foundation Host #GivingTuesday Gala & Virtual Silent Auction

During the month of November, The Kinship Advisors and Jaylen Brown teamed up to host his second Annual “7uice Foundation Gala”, this time in an effort to raise funds for his joint venture with the MIT Media Lab, The Bridge Program.

The Bridge Program is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in science and technology and is designed for 8-12th graders from underrepresented communities throughout the greater Boston area. For more information about the Bridge Program, visit  https://www.bridgefuture.org/

For the two weeks leading up to the November 30th #GivingTuesday Gala, TKA and The 7uice Foundation raised funds by auctioning off seven authentic, Jaylen Brown-autographed items, with the winners announced during the virtual program.

Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic, the gala was hosted virtually over Zoom, but it was nothing short of an action-packed evening complete with emcee, special celebrity guests, and of course Jaylen Brown and MIT Media Lab Director, David Kong, who shared their reflections on the 12-week pilot program. The event was an overall success, raising over $25,000.00 for The 7uice Foundation and The Bridge Program’s future sustainability.

Following the deadly and destructive Category 4 hurricane that made landfall in Louisiana on August 26, 2021, Jrue and Lauren Holiday felt compelled to commit their resources and NBA network once again to immediately impact their former city. The JLH Fund, along with The Langston Galloway Foundation, Jhalil Okafor, Frank Jackson, among others connected with Baton-Rouge native Gary Chambers and the “Bigger Than Me” foundation to provide 200 generators, gas cans and gift cards to residents without power in some of the hardest hit areas of southeast Louisiana.
